Emily  Jones Emily was born in Billings, Montana on October 1, 1982 and grew up in Park City, Montana near the Yellowstone River. In 2001, she graduated as the Valedictorian from Park City High School. She received a B.A. in Political Science from The University of Montana, graduating with honors in 2005. She then attended law school at The University of Montana School of Law, graduating in May 2008.

A fourth-generation Montanan, Emily is the third generation of attorneys in her family to graduate from UM Law. During law school, Emily participated in numerous activities, including the distinguished Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. She also received the CALI Award for Water Law. Emily interned with Moulton Bellingham during the summer of 2007 before accepting an associate position with the firm. She is admitted to practice in Montana state and federal courts.

Emily practices in a variety of litigation areas, including the defense of medical malpractice, employment law, products liability law, insurance defense, adoptions, property law, and commercial litigation. Emily’s trial experience includes a three-day arbitration in which she represented an employer in a wrongful discharge case. Emily took the testimony of six witnesses during the arbitration, and the employer prevailed. Emily truly enjoys the variety and diversity of litigation experiences that the profession has to offer.
