Harlan
B. Krogh Harlan was born in Yreka, California, on May 29, 1960. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with highest honors from Montana State University-Billings in 1982, and a J.D. degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Gonzaga University in 1987. He was Associate Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review.
From 1987 to 1989 Harlan served as Law Clerk to United States District Chief Judge James F. Battin in Billings. Harlan served as President of the Yellowstone Area Bar Association in 2004-05. He is listed in the publication, The Best Lawyers in America. He was awarded the MSU-Billings Distinguished Alumni Award in 1996, and was elected to the Billings School District Board of Trustees in 1995.
Harlan is a Past President of the Midland Roundtable and Past Chairman of the Centennial Youth Foundation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Big Sky State Games, a grassroots Olympic organization for the State of Montana. Harlan practices in the areas of personal injury, products liability, commercial litigation and employment law.
